Several airlines are using Boeing 737 aircraft on longer flights because of their fuel efficiency. However, consumers will not be happy to fly on the aircraft because of the tight seating arrangements. A list of airlines and the routes on which the airplanes fly is provided.

The toilet shortage aloft

The number of lavatories on airplanes is designated by the airline, not the aircraft manufacturer. The number of lavatories installed also depends on the design of the aircraft. The passenger-lavatory ratios for each type of plane flown by 45 airlines is included.
